How wonderful it is to have time to read!

"And though she felt sure that his love for her was waning, there was nothing she could do, she could not in any way alter her relations to him. Just as before, only by love and by charm could she keep him. And so, just as before, only by occupation in the day, by morphine at night, could she stifle the fearful thought of what would be if he ceased to love her."-- Anna Karenina, thinking about her lover

By trading off time to write grammatical sentences!
@HappyLemming - whoops! :-p
I remember in college, you were always reading
something
, something other than textbooks/required reading =)
@missymoo630 - Procrastination is in the essence of being a college student.
For some, it comes in the form of Counterstrike, Starcraft, and WOW. For others, leisure reading. =)
It's so hard to find time to read.
Not bad, you should finish in a few hours.
@missymoo630 - Zing...as only an ex -roomie can!
@missymoo630 - LOL... yes, yes. I was such a procrastinator.
@HappyLemming - I play Starcraft and Plants vs. Zombies too. :-p
@throughsamseyes - It is!! But this weekend, I'm putting everything aside to finish this book.
@SoullFire - Still not done yet.. .:-p I put it down to run errands / cook. :-p
in reply to your comment, haha I would have many since all I've thought about were the mistakes and therefore I'd work to correct them all! =P But then again, saying it is one thing putting it into action is another!
So is that book any good? I haven't read a book in a while...haha I'm so lazy, but I have recently read "I hope they serve Beer in Hell" It's pretty entertaining heh.
Anyways take care!~
Ohhh I love Anna Karenina!!! And few things beat the pleasure of indulging in a good book. Enjoy!
@morningmoka - yes! it's such a great book!
have you read any of his other novels?
Not yet! I was checking Russian authors, so I read Leo Tolstoy's Anna Karenina, Fyodor Dostoyvesky's The Brothers Karamazov and Alexandar Pushkin's Queen of Spades.. I find myself liking Leo Tolstoy's style over the rest..Perhaps I'll check out his War and Peace after I'm done with all the novels I recently bought! hehe
How about you?
@morningmoka - I just finished Anna Karenina, and I'm working on The Brothers Karamazov. I LOVE Crime and Punishment, and Notes from Underground though.
Those are two of my favorite books!
ooo. crime and punishment! i have heard great reviews about that book! will add the books on my "to read" list. hehe
@morningmoka - you should def. read it! but "Notes.." is better though.
so much reading to do!
just read great reviews about Notes! am definitely gonna check it out and let you know!!! but first i need to finish Iliad, which I'm currently reading, and then move on to Odyssey, Vanity Fair, The Unbearable Lightness of Being, Age of Innocence and Room with A View... as you can now tell, i have a terrible weakness for books, making me a nice target for amazon.. ><; that said, i'm constantly on the lookout for more good books, do give me a shoutout anytime if you come across any good reads!!
@morningmoka - OMG!!! The Unbearable Lightness of Being is one of my FAVORITE books of all time!!! "The Hours" and "Sophie's Choice" are also great books! What're your ALL-TIME favs?
Ooo really? Cool! i bought all the above books and a couple others at different points in time and only managed to finish some during my travels. ^^; hehe my all time faves got to be "The Plague" by Albert Camus (his "The Stranger" is pretty good too!), Les Miserables, The Count of Monte Cristo, Jane Eyre, 100 years of Solitude, Anna Karenina and Catch-22!
