Good luck helping Hawaii develop their State Energy Plan. You'll probably spend the whole 2 months discussing everything to death while nothing gets done.
@jayyz - Actually... a 200+ page report is due at the end of August... so hopefully something will be done..
@lilniteanngel - renewable resources to supply 70% of Hawaii's energy by 2030. It took 10+ years to put up wind turbines on the north shore. Still in planning mode for more in Lanai. You can only have so much solar panels. Wave turbines and geothermal would probably best but it'll take years of "environmental studies" to get it done. Geothermal would probably never be done. It would take a miracle to hit 50% by 2030. Things in Hawaii take extremely long to get things accomplished.
Btw, congrats on getting into Yale school of management. That's pretty awesome.
