Girl can obviously give a speech, but all she gets is an applause at the end and thats it - nothing changes after that. It is sad really.

It's a great speech. It's unfortunate that as a general rule, adults subscribe to the "Do as I say, not as I do" ideology towards children.
Great speech! That's why it disgust me now I see stuff like this on the November voter's ballot... forget about envirnomental issues until the economy is better... when is it that money is more important than anything in the world? 5 minutes silence is not enough... we need action!!
She's the daughter of well-known Canadian environmentalist David Suzuki. She did a great speech but sadly nothing's changed since 1992 Rio conference.
